Sustainably at CEWE

We accept responsibility – even beyond the confines of our company.

Sustainability Management

Our long-term commitment also grows with our economic growth. Our comprehensive sustainability management policy also commits us beyond the scope of national and international legislation and regulations. We publish an annual Sustainability Report to inform the public about our progress.

Economic Futureproofness

Innovation leadership gives us a crucial competitive edge. We recognised this fact some decades ago and have been developing our own production systems since then. Experienced employees pass their knowledge onto younger employees, resulting in new machines that significantly improve productivity and the quality of print post-processing and in shipping. The starting point of our work towards lasting healthy economic growth is our "feel" for the latest technological and market trends.

Environmental Protection and Resource Conservation

Our environmental policy is expressed by the following points: saving energy, protecting water, conserving resources and ensuring industrial safety. These key aspects form the foundation of our sustainability strategy.

Responsibility to employees

We wish to offer our employees the optimum conditions to allow them to develop their full potential. This includes, firstly, qualified personnel management and a professional further training programme. At the same time, we are working on a number of projects to ensure the best possible balance between family and work.

Social Commitment

For many years we have been supporting social, cultural and sporting projects. Our focus is on non-bureaucratic assistance to our sites in Germany and Europe. A key pillar of our commitment is, particularly, our cooperation with the "SOS Children's Villages Worldwide" charity.

Download Sustainability Reports

Our Sustainability Reports document our active and continuous endeavour to operate sustainably. We were one of the first SDAX-listed companies to volunteer at an early stage to produce sustainability reports. Since 2010 we have been reporting annually on our Group-wide progress and base this on the standards set out by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
